Gillespie Field Aviation Event
April 21-23, 2008
Come see the vintage warbirds and other aircraft at the event to be held at Gillespie Field from April 21st to the 23rd. The Collings Foundation will be bringing their B-17, B-24, and B-25 bombers, selling rides for those who wish to experience what it was like to fly in those vintage bombers. Another area of the field will host a variety of tables and tents with vendors, exhibitors, and others as are usually found at our annual airshow. The theme of this event is Kids and Aviation, with a special emphasis on the educational side of our aviation community. Admission and parking are free for this daytime event!
Hawaiian shirts a hit!
Our PX has had great success in selling our aviation-themed Hawaiian shirts at airshows and other events. Our prices beat those in the stores, and the money goes to support the wing. Come check out our selection, and get one for yourself and/or as holiday gifts for your friends.
Great News! Air Group One has entered into
a partnership with YouAutoDonate.com.
Now you can donate your old car, boat, RV, or other vehicle and have the money go
towards Air Group One. Your donation will be tax-deductible, you avoid the hassles of
selling your vehicle and dealing with the DMV, and the money goes to a good cause. In most
cases, they'll even come and pick up the vehicle from you. Just go to the YouAutoDonate.com website and
navigate to the AG-1 page; you'll find all the details there.

CAF Air Group One and
Tuskegee Airmen members take a moment to reflect,

Gillespie Field.
Air Group One is looking for men and women of all ages who would like to join us in our mission to preserve military aviation history and to honor those who served. We also have a cadet program for those who are under 18 years of age. For more information, stop by our hangar on any Saturday morning and meet the gang!
