"On Air Aviation" radio show
The objective of the On Air Aviation radio program is to serve the aviation community for the educational purpose of preserving aviation heritage and promoting aviation to new generations. Topics will cover past, present and future items of interest to the aviation community and the general public, from those merely curious about aviation, to seasoned aviation professionals and veterans. Highly qualified contributing editors have joined up to provide timely, informative topics from the USS Midway Museum, the San Diego Air and Space Museum, San Diego County Airports, and the San Diego Business Journal with more experts to come. Aviation enthusiasts will be encouraged to call in and join the conversation, contributing to the one-hour weekly program.  On Air Aviation is launching this Sunday evening, September 5th, from 8 to 9 pm, on KCBQ 1170 AM, or just click on the “Listen Live” button on KCBQ.com for online listening.

Well-known radio host Dave Stall was inspired by a press flight in a warbird at the “Wings over Gillespie Air Show 2010” to develop a new AM radio program dedicated to the aviation community of San Diego County on “Intelligent Talk” KCBQ 1170 San Diego. Dave is supported by aviation enthusiast Rich Kenney, an experienced sports marketer and former magazine editor, who joined the project to spearhead the marketing, advertising sales, and to coordinating the content of the program.  Rich is also associated with San Diego’s Air Group One of the Commemorative Air Force based at Gillespie Field, in El Cajon, California.

We have moved!

We have moved to a new location, which is 1905 North Marshall Avenue. There is a big sign on the end of the hangar row that says "Safari Aviation." We are in Hangar #6. Come down and see us at our new hangar!
